Nursing Degree? Check. What’s next? Gigs.

Finishing university has been a surreal milestone.

For about 8 years, I was balancing study, work, music and figuring out what parts of music I would continue working on hobby-wise; trying to give each part of my life the energy it required.

Now that I’ve finally wrapped up my studies in nursing, I’ve had time to process… and jump straight back into the music scene and hard launch my passion.

At first, I wasn’t entirely sure what my motivation would look like once uni was over. When something as big as studying takes up so much space, it’s interesting when it suddenly stops. But I’ve learned that even when your direction isn’t completely clear, planting ideas in your mind — those “one day” thoughts — can grow into “today’s” thoughts. Something real.

That’s exactly what’s been happening for me. I continued giving music small portions of attention along the way to maintain momentum - even in the most minute ways. Those seeds I planted have started to take over. I’ve landed some big gigs (which I’ll be sharing soon 👀), and it feels like the tragectory is on an upward trend… and I am so ready for where I am going with it.

On top of that, I’ve started exploring the world of music production — comparing platforms like FL Studio and Ableton Live, figuring out which one fits my preference as a beginner and for the future. Another chapter forming.

This next phase feels like a blend of grounding and growing.

I’m still learning, still experimenting, but more sure than ever that this is what fills my cup & makes me feel alive.

Stay tuned — I’ve got a lot more to share soon. 💿✨
